Detroit
After we went to the wedding and such in Chicago, we went and visited our second cousins in Detroit. The last time that I saw these kids was about 11 years ago. This meeting was a long time a'coming. When we first met them, I think it was alot
more awkward for them than it was for us. Somehow, Moiz and I remembered everything about them, but they could barely even remember us. We started out with bonfire, and Moiz had the boys to ask if the marshmellow's were halal (come on poochi, whats the big deal in asking that) Luckily, they thought it was hilarious. This here is Zubair, aka, Zubilly Zoo. He is an original gangster. We got along really well, we all have the same sense of humour and such, its was so much fun. I know that it sounds lame, but the week we spent in Detroit was one of the most enjoyable times in my life, ever. I know, it sounds bad, but it was so much fun man. Stress free, and full of: Mario Tennis, Ping Pong, Poker, Real life tennis, and lots, and lots, and lots of baklawa...
This here is Sadia (aka Thadia). I also came up with anoth
er nickname for her, "money bags". Every game of poker we played, she would say "ok, I call...but I know im not going to win anywayth!" or "Oh man...fine, Ill go all in" and "Gosh, I dont think Ive folded a single hand. 25!" She was so kind and generous to us all, and she consistently gave us her poker chips! What a nice person. She and her sister are sick (absolutely sick) at ping pong, which I will explain later. Here, she was really upthet at her thithter because she was beating her in that crazy speed game. More to come...hold on...
